Robotic lawnmower from Bosch
Published: 12 December 2013
Bosch's first robotic lawnmower, Indego, mows the lawn so the user does not have to.
Set-up takes only 15 minutes as the Indego maps the lawn, then, once programmed, finds the most efficient route to mow, avoiding any obstacles. The lawnmower's unique attributes include intelligent LogiCut navigation, allowing it to decide on the most effective route to mow and, unlike other robotic mowers, the integrated parallel cutting strategy mows in consecutive rows to ensure complete coverage. Mulching as it goes, Indego cuts the grass into small pieces which deposit back into the lawn and decompose, providing nutrients to fertilise it.
