Tool distributor Rollins Group has taken over UK and Ireland distribution rights for the Arrow Fastener range of staple guns and other tools.
Effective January I, Rollins Group assumed responsibility for the distribution of the Arrow Fastener brand and products in the UK and Ireland. Rollins and Arrow
are working with Arrow UK to ensure a seamless transition, and Rollins MD Stuart Elsom confirmed that all the Arrow area sales managers will be joining the Rollins team.

"We will be working to ensure that service and supply of Arrow products is maintained," said Mr Elsom in a letter to stockists. But he warned there will be a five-day period during which despatch will be postponed as stock is transferred to Rollins' Harlow base,. All outstanding accounts will be payable to Arrow UK Ltd, and orders despatched after January 1 will be invoiced by Rollins.

"We intend to maintain the current Arrow price and discount structure, and in the short term, phone calls will continue to be routed through the existing customer service department in Croydon," Mr Elsom's letter continued. "We will keep you informed as to when this service will be migrated over to our Harlow office."

Mr Elsom described the news as "an exciting development that will mutually benefit Arrow customers and the Arrow brand, while allowing Rollins to add another premium American brand to our current portfolio".

Rollins already represents a portfolio of US tool brands in the UK, including Marshalltown trowels, Estwing hammers, Eklind hex keys, Channellock pliers, Fisher rules and AMI spirit levels among others.
