The annual awards event, organised by DIY Week and diyweek.net with Hardware & Garden Review and Housewares magazine, covers the whole spectrum of home improvement and home enhancement retailing.

Rust-Oleum is on board as sponsor of the award for Britain's Best Superstore Manager.

Commenting on the awards, Rust-Oleum marketing manager, Paul Waller said: "As a business that prides itself on delivering exceptional service to its customers, we're delighted to sponsor an event that recognises their hard work and achievements and look forward to presenting the award."

The winners of the 2009 award will be announced at the awards dinner at the Deansgate Hilton in Manchester on Thursday November 12. The black-tie dinner will be compered this year by the ventriloquist and entertainer Nina Conti.

A table for 10 at the dinner costs £1,395 including drinks reception, three-course dinner and wine. Individual places are available at £145.
