The supermarket chain launched its first TV ad campaign to support its non-food website on Tuesday.
The nationwide advert features animated computer cursors pushing trolleys as they buy a variety of products. The site, seen at www.sainsburys.co.uk, has been offering over 8,000 non-food items including furniture, TVs, white goods, toys, home entertainment and iPods since last July.
The 30-second ad, created by advertising agency AMV BBDO and directed by Stylewar, a Swedish consortium of designers, also highlights a new offer for free delivery on all orders over £50.
