Sanders Garden World brought into Wyevale fold - UPDATE
The spokesperson said managing director Peter Burks broke the news to staff yesterday afternoon.

A full announcement is expected on Monday, September 3.

Update - Sunday, September 2

Sir Tom Hunter has since declared his involvement in the Sanders World deal saying he is keen to keep building his garden centre empire – and is planning further acquisitions later this month.

The Sanders World purchase (between £10-20m) is expected to add £25m to Wyevale's turnover, however, significantly, the centre has more than 30 acres suitable for expansion.

A spokesperson for West Coast Capital told The Scotsman newspaper it is the investment group's intention to have 60 such destination sites in the next three to five years.
