Sarum pleased with visitor numbers to annual trade show

Visitors impressed with quality of products on offer - and food, says Sarum partner John Mouland.
More than 100 diy and hardware retailers headed to Sarum Wholesale's annual trade show last week - and made it a successful, and memorable day, according to partner in the business, John Mouland.
"We feel the day was busy and well supported; it was a very good day for business and an enjoyable social event, Mr Mouland told diyweek.net.
"Everyone was positive, which is bucking the doom-and-gloom trend currently being written about, and they placed lots of orders and took full advantage of all the offers."
Mr Mouland praised the 76 suppliers whom exhibited for their support, and also the retailers some of which travelled "80-90 miles" to attend the show.
"Customers commented on the variety and quality of stands and products on offer. They also commented on the excellent food and venue," he said.
Sarum Wholesale's annual trade show took place at Salisbury racecourse on Wednesday January 16. As well as exhibitor displays, it featured star buys on everyday product lines.
