The multi-channel retailer has strengthened its board of directors further with the appointment of Lindsay Haselhurst in the role of supply chain and operations director.
Ms Haselhurst joins Screwfix from Wincanton where she worked as marketing and development director. She brings with her a wealth of experience having held a wide variety of senior roles across transport, operation and warehouse specialist operations.
In her new role, Ms Haselhurst will lead Screwfix's operational strategies across its network of more than 340 stores, along with driving the logistical arm of the business' click & collect service and next-day delivery capabilities. She will also be responsible for enhancing the retailer's supply chain operations to support forthcoming retail expansion plans.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Haselhurst said: "I am delighted to be joining the Screwfix team. It's an exciting time to be part of a dynamic business that not only has a highly efficient supply chain and logistics at its core, but also such a proactive and passionate team behind it. I look forward to using my skills and experience to ensure our operation is 'fit for the future' and can fully support the business in its continued expansion into new areas."
Screwfix ceo Andrew Livingston said: "We have no doubt that Lindsay's wealth of expertise will prove a great asset to the Screwfix business as we look to grow even further over the next 12 months. We are excited to welcome her to the team."
