Screwfix contact centre recognised for excellence

Screwfix's Yeovil contact centre has scooped two accolades in the South West Contact Centre Awards 2014.
The company won the title of Contact Centre of the Year, while communications coordinator Sasha Collin was named Support Person of the Year.
The judges said they recognised Screwfix's dedication to customer service and commitment to creating a motivated and supportive staff environment that would produce excellent results. They also thought that the company had created a culture in which adaptability to a highly competitive market was encouraged and embraced.
Staff at all levels were motivated to achieve excellence in service delivery and customers were consistently put at the heart of operations.
Screwfix's contact centre now handles some 40,000 calls every week.
