Published: 10 September 2013
Screwfix has launched its first show dedicated to trade and DIY, 'Screwfix Live', with more than 120 suppliers exhibiting at Farnborough Five this month.
The free event, which takes place September 13-15, is aimed at tradesmen and serious DIYers and will feature demonstrations, guest appearances, competitions, and on-stand offers and deals.
Suppliers, such as DeWalt, Bosch, and Irwin are lined up to showcase a range of products, from power and hand tools, to plumbing, electrical, workwear, landscaping and decorating.
Live demonstrations will take on the main stage, while the event will also see the launch of 'Britain's Top Tradesman 2013' - Screwfix's annual search for the best in the business, from plumbers and electricians, to landscapers, builders, and joiners.
Speaking about the event, Screwfix chief executive Andrew Livingston said: "It's proving extremely popular with our suppliers, all the stands were fully booked within weeks of us announcing the show."
Visitors can pre-register online at
www.screwfixlive.com to guarantee entry to the event this week. The places are allocated on a first- come, first served basis. A 10% discount on anything bought at the show can be benefited for those who pre-register. Limited entry may be available to people who turn up on the day.
