In a survey of more than 5,800 people, Screwfix tops the DIY category in terms of customer satisfaction.
A spokesman for retail analyst company Verdict which commissioned the survey, said: "Screwfix has been able to retain its crown within DIY by remaining the leader in terms of service and facilities as well as making a significant improvement to its price perceptions.
"With price remaining a key driver of loyalty among DIY shoppers, its decision to invest in price through price promotions has resonated well with a still cautious shopper".
Second place in the survey was given to B&Q and third place was taken by Wickes.
Thousands of shoppers were asked about their experiences with retailers and questioned on how satisfied they were with the service they received.
