Staff at Slees Home Hardware in Braunton, Devon are celebrating after hearing they had won Home Hardware's Dulux window dressing competition.
All Home Hardware retailers were invited to participate in the competition, which was judged by an independent panel.
Alison Serret from Slees took home the first prize of £100-worth of vouchers, while Lennie Watson from Watson Home Hardware in Sutton-on-Sea, Lincolnshire won £50 in vouchers as second prize.
In deciding a winner, the judges took into account window content, products featured, layout and use of props and point-of-sale material.
"The competition was linked to our spring DIY & Housewares promotion," explained Home Hardware marketing manager Beverley Wood.
"Members are promoting a significant 25% off Dulux coloured emulsion, which is proving very successful. During February we've seen retailers raising the bar and working hard to make their DIY-themed window displays highly attractive to the consumer."
Ms Serret added: "We're thrilled to have won the competition and would like to thank our staff for their hard work. The Dulux display, featuring the famous Dulux dog, was a fun theme to incorporate into our window".
