Spear & Jackson has launched a revolutionary range of ergonomically designed gardening tools designed to both take the strain out of garden labour; as well as inspire novices to take to the soil. With a number of unique features; the E-Series range of digging, cultivating and hand tools has been developed with a leading UK University* to make gardening easier, taking away the hard work and toil.
Incorporating a unique stirrup design and centralised foot tread, the E-Series spades, forks and edging tools have been designed to provide maximum power at the centre of the blade, meaning that less strain and muscle effort is required. An enlarged forward tilting handle gives the ideal digging angle, while the centralised stirrup helps to aid balance.
The cultivating and hand tool products have been designed with ease of use and comfort in mind. A lightweight, aluminium shaft with ergonomic bend ensures that minimum effort is required when raking and hoeing, while the contoured, soft-feel handles promote comfort and grip.
Tim Hearn from Spear & Jackson comments: "For many people gardening is an enjoyable past time but for others it can be an annoying chore. E-Series is designed to benefit everyone - from those that want to spend time cultivating their garden, to others that would prefer to get the gardening out of the way as quickly as possible.
"Each tool has been designed to make them extremely easy and comfortable to use, taking away some of the strain that comes with traditional gardening tools. The sleek, modern design is also a move away from traditional gardening tools, making them extremely appealing to today's style conscious consumer."
