To celebrate the business' 80th anniversary, Squire's Garden Centres have donated plants from their '80th Celebration Collection', a range of their favourite plants over the last 80 years, to make a beautiful flowerbed in Gostrey Meadow Park in Farnham.
Said Squires boss Sarah Squire: "I would like to thank Kevin Taitt and his team at Farnham Town Council for giving us the opportunity to have a flowerbed in Gostrey Meadow to celebrate Squire's 80th anniversary.
"We chose plants from Squire's '80th Celebration Collection', which include favourites such as roses, geraniums, lavender and trachelospermum (Star Jasmine), so as well as beautiful colours the flowerbed should have a wonderful scent too.
"The trachelospermum will look particularly stunning climbing up the obelisks. The plants were expertly planted up by Kevin and his team. The flowerbed is situated close to the war memorial, in what is a really beautiful public park, with a traditional bandstand and stream running through it.
"Gostrey Meadow is a lovely space for local people to enjoy, and I hope that they enjoy the flowers in the Squire's flowerbed for a long time to come."
