Squire’s revamps eatery at West Horsley centre

Squire’s Garden Centres has continued the roll-out of new-look Café Bars across its estate, with its centre  in West Horsley the latest to benefit from an refurbishment, and the café now boasting a stylish new look, décor and furniture..

As part of the extensive refurbishment, a new pavilion has been built with retractable roof and climate control that is also available for event hire for up to thirty people.

The licensed Café Bar has had a complete overhaul of its menu and now meets a range of dietary needs, with a wide selection of freshly prepared food, including hot and cold meals, a salad bar, filled baguettes and cakes, plus a wide choice of teas, coffees, cold drinks and wine.

Chairman Sarah Squire said: “Throughout the day the Café Bar is a very popular stopping point for visitors to our West Horsley garden centre and we have already heard from many ‘regulars’ that they love the new look. We know that our customers have a very keen eye for colour in their gardens so we wanted the Café Bar to reflect that. In fact, they’re so keen that they even spotted that the colourful flower pattern on the cushions features perennial favourites hydrangea, iris and lobelia! “

The West Horsley site is the latest of Squire’s 15 centres to have its catering offer revamped, as the family-run business has made investment and improvements across its portfolio that operates in Surrey, Sussex, Middlesex, North and West London.

All centres have free parking, a Café Bar serving breakfast, drinks, snacks, lunch and afternoon tea, and most have a children’s play area. Four centres also have extensive pets and aquatics departments - at Squire’s in Badshot Lea, Twickenham, Stanmore and Washington.
