Stanley kicks off football season with new ad deal

Stanley Hand Tools is continuing its association with top flight football this season, with a significant investment in perimeter advertising and exclusive deals as official partner of both Liverpool FC and Fulham FC.
Stanley branding will feature on perimeter board advertising at its official partner clubs and at an additional eight Premiership clubs: West Ham United, Everton, Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers, Reading FC, Sunderland AFC, Wigan Athletic and Swansea AFC.
Said Stanley Black & Decker marketing director David Osborne: "With an expected reach of over 50m consumers, we're anticipating a significant increase in brand recognition amongst our core male target audience."
Stanley has also launched its new Fantasy Premier League Football 2012/13 at
www.stanleyfantasyfootball.co.uk, giving one savvy football manager in the making the chance to win an overall prize of £1,000, as well as providing monthly prizes of £100 for Manager of the Month.
Last season, Stanley's Premiership activity provided a cumulative TV viewing audience of over 51m in the UK, delivering £7.4m 100% media equivalent value.
