Stanley measures up mini tape measure market
Published: 31 October 2013
Amongst four new additions to Stanley's selection of measuring and layout tools is this Mini FatMax tape keychain in a counter-top 'sweetie jar' unit to attract impulse purchases.
Despite its small size, the pocket-sized tool has 2m of tape, and its lightweight keychain format means tradesmen can take it anywhere. Also for smaller jobs, the new Mini Chalk Line is less than half the size of standard chalk reels but has 9m of precision line, 28g capacity and 50 lines per refill.
Stanley has also launched two new cross line laser models, which include multiple attachment points and can be fixed to a number of different surfaces. Pendulum mounted self-levelling laser technology means that both models are able to self-correct, removing the need for a spirit level.
