Now in its sixth year, the Big Brands Trade Shows looks set to be the biggest in Stax history, with more than 150 brands already signed up to attend the two shows this September and October.
Celebrated as one of the season's go to trade events, and attended by national buyers looking to secure major deals and new products from all the biggest DIY, homewares, garden and hardware brands, the Big Brands Shows are marketed as key dates for independents, multiples and the online e-tail fraternity looking to plan for the season ahead.

Covering 12 key sectors including gardening, seasonal, hardware, tools, electricals, homewares, DIY and decorating the shows' aim is to enable retailers of all types to diversify and create opportunities for growth.

This year the shows kick off from September 21-22 at Stax Glasgow before heading south to Stax Manchester on October 5-6.

Major brands are expected to attend, showcasing all the latest products to hit the market and the shows will also feature a host of prizes and giveaways. Stax joint MD David Hibbert said: "Our visitor numbers are growing year on year, with last year thousands of retailers in attendance placing orders directly with the reps or taking stock directly from the aisles. We ve got over 150 of the major brands attending including Scotts, Stanley Black & Decker, PPG, Henkel, ERA and Dencon Electricals to name just a few.

"We've been working with all suppliers to put together a selection of amazing deals that will only be available to those attending one of the shows, so retailers wishing to attend are advised to register their interest early to ensure orders can be placed on the day."
