Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Sterling buys Spectra

Published: 23 September 2009
Sterling Locks has acquired the Spectra Door Closer and Door Stops range for an undisclosed sum.
The Spectra brand joins ranges such as Link&Lock, KeyMinder and SafeCan under the Sterling umbrella.

Sterling marketing director Rex Atkins said: "Security is not just about locking things up, although that is an important part of it. There are so many reasons why customers might need to ensure doors are kept closed, with fire protection being one of the most important.

"Sterling was drawn to the Spectra range because it not only offers high quality for great value, but because it is a superior product with a certified Fire Rating and capable of closing heavier doors.

"This is also great news for retailers. Sterling has always been committed to helping retailers maximise on sales, and we mean to continue!"
