Security specialist Sterling has confirmed its continued support of Britain's Best Retailer Awards by sponsoring the Britain's Best Security Retailer category.
The awards, organised by DIY Week and sister titles Hardware & Garden Review and Housewares Magazine, recognise excellence in retail across the DIY, garden and housewares sectors with categories that also include Britain's Best Hardware Retailer, Britain's Best Garden Retailer, Britain's Best Décor Retailer, Britain's Best Tool Retailer, Britain's Best DIY Superstore Manager, Britain's Best Independent Department Store, Britain's Best Multiple Housewares Retailer and Britain's Best Cookshop.
Speaking of his continued support for the event, Sterling marketing director Rex Atkins said: "It's a very enjoyable, fun event where the best retailers in the country are rubbing shoulders. The awards get great publicity and security is an important category for the DIY and hardware market so by sponsoring Britain's Best Security Retailer we can be a part of that."
And, the benefits are obvious for the winners on the night with the prestige and kudos of being crowned Britain's Best Retailer for the next 12 months. Plus, continued Rex: "it allows companies to really focus in on their business and specific aspects of it and look at how they might do things better."
Entering couldn't be simpler. Just visit
www.bbra.co.uk to download an entry form or forms (retailers are invited to enter as many categories as they think appropriate). Then send the completed form plus all supporting material to us here at DIY Week. An independent expert panel will then judge the entries over two days and will decide the worthy silver winners and the overall Gold winner in each category.
The winners will be announced at a glittering black tie event at the Manchester Hilton Deansgate on November 12. Suppliers - visit
