Team Sugru were thrilled to win Gold in the hardware category at the Totally shows' New Product Awards.

The company says it also delighted "to have so many people believing in our 'magic' product".

Sugru looks like putty but overnight cures to form a flexible, waterproof, colourful, silicone rubber. It can be formed by hand and its properties range from adhesive to flexible, electrically insulating, waterproof and dishwasher safe. It is also heat resistant up to 180°C and cold-proof down to ­minus 50°C.
