The Totally DIY:Totally Tools organiser Brintex is reporting strong support for the new format and timing of the event taking place next year.
Following consultation with manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and key trade associations, the 2016 edition
moves to a two-day, midweek time slot. Brintex says the decision has been widely welcomed as a positive move, allowing the trade to focus on two days of business and discussion.
Exhibitor support for the new-format show comes from, amongst others, LG Harris, Draper Tools, Spear & Jackson, Gorilla Glue, Sterling Locks, Rolson Tools, King Dick Tools, Eurobond Retail Adhesives, Soudal, Amtech and Forgefix, who have all reconfirmed their participation. Tembé DIY Products has re-joined the show following a break in attending.
Home Hardware, Stax Trade Centres and Mica DIY will once again be working with Brintex to deliver the show and to encourage independent retailers to attend.
The British Independent Retailers Association will again be participating in the event and hosting its supplier village concept.
And the British Home Enhancement Trade Association will look to develop the Innovation Zone, which made its first appearance at the 2015 event. Two of the show's award-winning new products came from the Innovation Zone at the last event.
A number of the show's key features will remain unchanged, and the seminar programme will also run again. The DIY Week Awards will also continue to be relocated with the Totally Shows, with the dinner taking place on the evening of the opening day.
The shows will take place on Tuesday February 16 and Wednesday 17 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
