Supermarket goes head to head with DIY and bathroom retailers by introducing new installed range online and instore.
Tesco has teamed up with the Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installers (iKBBI) to offer a new installed kitchen and bathroom range.

The grocer is offering customers a free home design and planning service, as well as professional installation by registered iKBBI members.

The new range is already available in several of Tesco's Home Plus stores and has been included in its autumn/winter 2009 Tesco Direct catalogue. The retail giant has also re-launched dedicated websites for each product group at www.tescokitchens.com and www.tescobathrooms.com to include the installed offer.

iKBBI director Damian Walters, who has been working closely on the project for the past 15 months, commented: "I'm delighted Tesco see the benefit the iKBBI can bring to their brand and customers, and we're very excited to be working together."
