CrowdControlHQ has been appointed by TGCG to control and monitor the use of the group's social media to build on brand identity.
TGCG operates 140 garden centres in England and Wales and employs over 5,000 people, which poses problems when controlling who uses social media and the messages read by customers.
By using the services provided by social media risk management and compliance business, CrowdControlHQ, TGCG will now be able to control the messages being put out via social media to ensure all staff are consistent in tone of voice.
Usernames and passwords will be secured by CrowdControlHQ, which will mean that TGCG will be able to lock these down ensuring that when a colleague leaves they no longer have access to social media profiles.
TGCG will also be able to manage national campaigns across all of its centres' social media profiles with just the click of a button. This will ensure the campaign is consistent across all centres.
This control over the use of social media will enable TGCG to build on its brand identity and engagement with customers on a local level.
CEO of CrowdControlHQ James Leavesley said: "The group is a national brand with a very strong local presence. Social media enables local engagement to take place, which is critical to deliver footfall and revenue. However, to do this successfully the business needed a system which would enable them to have full control of their social media output.
"With a vast number of social profiles, keeping a track of analytics and progress is a time consuming job. Using our platform enables the online team to build reports and then automate these to capture headline information and the most successful activity in just a few clicks, which was originally taking hours to compile.
"This not only makes the organisation more efficient but also reduces costs. I am delighted that The Garden Centre Group chose our product and we look forward to a long partnership."
