The Pier - Everything must go
The chain, which went into administration in December, is offering large discounts and clearing out all stock.

With 31 stores and 17 concessions across the UK the Pier looks set to join Woolworths in closing down in the first few days of 2009.

Founded in Richmond, south London 19-years ago, The Pier has an ethical sourcing policy and presented most of its stores as up-market bazaars and is currently being run by administrators Mazars.
