The Range kicks off its Christmas ads

The Range has launched a new multi million pound Christmas marketing campaign that sees TV adverts hitting our screens today.
Showing off some of the retailer's 65,000 products as the TV ad follows a family shopping in store, the main message is "you'll be surprised by what you find at The Range this Christmas"; this follows research carried out by the company that found that new and existing customers are continually surprised by the quality, price and shopping experience in its stores.
The Range says it is set to be the most elaborate advert it has ever made and it will air on ITV from today for four weeks. The adverts were created by VCCP Blue and directed by Ben Wheatley. Mr Wheatley's direction "has added a modern, fresh approach to the dynamic of the filming, while still being a recognisable Range advert," the company said.

A radio and national press campaign is also being launched today, as well as online marketing for www.therange.co.uk.
Owner Chris Dawson commented: "The Range has always been focussed on bringing the widest range of quality products at affordable prices to our customers and this is never truer than at Christmas. We are especially excited about this campaign as it represents us as a company, shows a selection of our fantastic deals while still being humorous and memorable."
The company is continuing with its new store openings and
