Garden centre manager threatened by two men in robbery at Great Gaddesdon store last Friday.
A manager of Wyevale Garden Centre was ambushed by two men as he was locking up the store for the night on Friday October 9. The assailants threatened the member of staff and forced him back into the centre, where the takings were stored.
The men then emptied the safe, as well as taking a laptop and mobile phone before making their escape in what is believed to be a dark-coloured VW Golf, driven by a third man.
The incident took place between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Pipers Hill, in Great Gaddesdon, near Hemel Hempstead.
Local police are appealing for witnesses and for anyone with information to come forward. Detective constable Andrew Roseblade from the area crime group said of the incident: "I want to trace the occupants of the car or anyone who may have been driving along the Leighton Buzzard Road at the time, so seen a vehicle matching the description."
Anyone with information can call DC Roseblade at Hertfordshire Police Station on 0845 330222 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
