B&Q in Stanmore was recently targeted by thieves, who made off with £6,000 worth of power tools from brands including DeWalt and Makita.
The goods were soon dumped by the offenders as a police chase ensused. Brent police officers, with the help of sniffer dog Zeus, were able to recover the items. They then uploaded a picture of the stolen goods on Twitter.
No arrests have been made and detectives are currently looking into CCTV surveillance to try and identify the thieves.
