The latest independent DIY store to join the Home Hardware community is Tindalls DIY in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, which has relaunched with a new look.
Tindalls DIY has been part of the Stokesley community for over 100 years and has been owned by Mike and Rita Corrigan since 2003.
The husband and wife team took the decision to join Home Hardware because of the opportunities having a more corporate image and increased brand recognition can bring.
The store relaunched as Tindall's Home Hardware earlier in the month and has since had a fresh coat of paint to the exterior, new signage and a new main shop window.
Mr Corrigan said: "Thanks to Home Hardware's extensive ranges, we are able to offer customer's much more than just DIY, so having a shop window for display is really useful for us."
He added that changes to the interior are ongoing to maximise the retail area of the store.
