Laser Tools brand opens new showroom and research and development facility.
Laser Tools' new showroom and Tech Centre facility at ITS Southam headquarters in Warwickshire was opened by former CBI director general Lord Digby Jones last month.
Laser Tools is part of Tool Connection and the new facility offers its customers a range of services including a showroom, conference centre and technical demonstration area.
The adjacent Tech Centre is where the company's research, development and product testing takes place. Many of its tools are designed and developed in-house and produced at the manufacturing plant in Sheffield.
Lord Jones said: "For Britain to succeed in the 21st Century competitive globalised economy, there has to be quality investment by business in research and development, the training of young people, innovation and quality branded products. Tool Connection tick every box and it is a privilege to be asked to open the facility that is emblematic of all that is good in UK business both at home and overseas"
Opening day guests were treated to a tour of the new facility, demonstrations of the company's latest products and were invited to try out a Formula 1 racing car simulator. World Touring Car Championship driver James Nash - who is sponsored by Laser Tools - was on hand to show off his car and took part in a question and answer session.
