A 54-year-old man from Billericay, Essex, has won a luxury Nissan 370Z after entering a competition run by IRWIN Tools.
Challenge Irwin invited customers to 'use the best, be the best' by trying its latest range of tools for the chance to win big prizes at more than 70 events across trades shows and builders merchants in the UK.
Michael Harrison bought a tape measure for his entry into the draw, and was picked at random out of 6,000 contenders.
The prize-winner said: "I can't believe I've won a sports car, just from buying something as small as a tape measure. I've never won anything in my life and never thought these type of competitions were real. I can't wait to take it for a drive."
Irwin's channel marketing manager Ian Birdsall added: "Last year's competition has been fantastic. Trade professionals throughout the UK have really embraced the challenge and won some fantastic prizes. Look out for the Irwin team in 2012 as we've got some plans in the pipeline for an even bigger competition this year."
