Toolbank provides Covid-19 update
Published: 7 May 2020 - Neil Mead
Following the latest government Covid-19 updates and a thorough overhaul of our warehouse operating procedures, we can extend the ranges we have available to our customers throughout the UK.
However, the health and safety of our team remains paramount and all those involved in processing customer orders will adhere to strict operating guidelines to ensure their safety as they carry out their work.
This means that we need to operate with a reduced team (to enable the appropriate social distancing) within our distribution centres, whilst many others of our team remain available to you on their usual contact numbers as, they work from home.
Some of our interim service criteria include:
Whilst we will do all we can to get products to you as soon as possible, we will not be able to offer our usual next day service but we will endeavour to ensure that you receive all Toolbank deliveries within 48/72 hours from receipt of order.
Due to the unique circumstances in which we operate and the impact this has had on our normal transport facilities, we need to maintain a small minimum order value of £50.
It may also be possible to collect goods from our warehouses but only by prior arrangement and subject to strict health and safety instructions that will be visible on site.
Due to reduced office staff numbers, we would ask you to help us by placing your orders through our B2B (or other electronic method) or by email.
It is still possible to contact us by phone however, if the call cannot be answered, please do leave a message and someone will contact you at the earliest opportunity.
For logistical reasons, we will not be able to offer products held at TSS/C stock. In most cases, there are suitable alternatives to these products at our local branches.
We will continue to strive to support you and your business and thank you for your support and consideration and, once again, wish you and your families well at this most difficult time.
