A recent survey conducted by Which? has ranked Toolstation as the top retailer in the country in terms of customer satisfaction and how likely they would be to recommend the retailer.
Toolstation ranked joint top of the list of 100 retailers, alongside electrical specialist Richer Sounds, beating the likes of John Lewis, Apple and Harvey Nichols. The Travis Perkins-owned store scored 80% for customer satisfaction and likelihood of recommendations in the poll of 10,214 customers based on their retail experiences over the last six months.
Toolstation finished joint second with John Lewis last year, but beat the retail giant by 1% this year.
The lowest ranking retailers were discount stores Poundstretcher and Poundland as well as WH Smith and Morrisons.
Toolstation marketing director John Meaden said: “We are delighted that our customers have spoken highly of their experience when buying from us and are pleased to be named joint top of the survey ahead of some great names.”
Which? magazine editor Richard Headland added: “The best retailers, Richer Sounds and Toolstation, continue to strike the right balance by selling quality products at reasonable prices. It's a simple formula, but that's why they consistently score well with shoppers in the Which? survey.”
