Toolstream celebrates its 10th anniversary

Published: 3 June 2019 - Kiran Grewal

Somerset-based tool supplier Toolstream has celebrated turning 10 years old.

The company hosted an action-packed day a couple of weeks ago with masses of activities. A pallet wood building competition took centre stage, with entrants re-using timber from the warehouse’s pallets to create benches for the open areas surrounding the complex. The benches were judged by the company directors, with prizes offered for the three best entrants.

More fun on the day included a spanner hunt, games and the opportunity for everyone to leave their mark on a commemorative plaque. To bring some European flavour to the event - an important market for Toolstream – snacks were served from a European-themed food stall. Lunch was provided by local favourite, Chapman’s Café.

Toolstream’s range of products has improved year-on-year and now carries

13 brands. Combined with a continuous drive to improve their service offering to customers, this has resulted in Toolstream continuing to record double-digit growth with annual turnover now over £100 million.

In their 10 years of trading, Toolstream has been a proud fundraiser for the Grand Appeal – the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity – and has raised a total of £10,551.76.
