Manufacturer of plastic household products, What More UK has won big for its outstanding growth in export sales.
Staff from the Burnley-based company received the Outstanding Exporter Achievement award at a recent ceremony organised by the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. This marked the latest in the company's award-winning export achievements over the course of 2011.
What More won the prestigious Export Achievement Award at the regional Business and Innovations Awards 2011, and has also been shortlisted for the Queens Award for Enterprise in the International Sales category.
This month will see What More's first container load of products set sail for China.
Director Tony Grimshaw said: "Exporting our products to China is a big step forward for the company. The quality of the goods we manufacture is outstanding and we're now selling over 40 countries with Singapore and Malaysia placing orders soon. Not bad for a company that only started exporting in 2008!"
