A new look 'Inspiration Centre' is one of the new interactive features of the flagship Topps Tiles store,
newly opened in Milton Keynes.
Described as "the next generation store", the new centre includes a dedicated seated space where customers can consult with staff on their interiors plans and gain expertise on all aspects of tiling and design. The new look store has an improved shopping experience including information points for projects such as underfloor heating, wetrooms and natural stone.
Point of Sale at the store has undergone a rejuvenation, featuring graphic boards, moveable boards and real room set photography. These new concepts aim to allow consumers to be more interactive with the range of tiles, natural stone, mosaics, porcelain and wood.
TV presenter and celebrity interior designer Julia Kendall from DIY SOS and 60 Minute Makeover was on hand at the launch of the store, alongside manager Bob Prince and the rest of the team. Customers visiting on the day were offered advice and help on any tiling projects. Consumers were able to use an online tile visualiser tool to see their favourite styles in a setting before considering a purchase and were able to explore styles and colours with Julia Kendall to create 'mood boards'.
