Topps Tiles is to strengthen its brand presence in the market by converting more of its Tile Clearing House (TCH) outlets to Topps Tiles Clearance branches.
The rebranding exercise will affect 12 of the TCH stores nationwide that are close to existing Topps Tiles outlets, which the retailer believes will boost local awareness of the name.
The conversions are part of an on-going programme under which some 30 TCH stores have been changed to Topps Tiles outlets and 12 to Topps Tiles Clearance. There are now 319 Topps Tiles branded stores nationwide.
TCH is the biggest clearance tile retailer in the UK, with the offer geared towards end-of-line and discounted product offers across wall and floor tiles, natural stone, mosaics, laminate and wood flooring, underfloor heating and tiling accessories.
Topps Tiles Clearance is also focused on a value offer, and new lines are being trialled in stores ahead of a possible wider roll-out.
Topps Tiles CEO Matt Williams said the company's experience of the brand conversions to date had been "very positive and we see the benefit of having our whole business aligned behind the Topps Tiles brand.
"This initiative will help us to deliver our goal of taking market share and I'm delighted that as we move forwards all colleagues can feel part of one team and part of one brand."
