Topps Tiles has invested more than £170,000 in a new store in Gloucestershire as part of its UK-wide expansion plans. The 2,800 sq ft unit on Fosseway Business Park in Moreton-in-Marsh opened its doors today.

The store forms part of the company's ongoing expansion and is one of a number of smaller format branches which the business is rolling out around the UK.

"Following the success of our Brixton and Tooting small-format branches the Moreton-In-Marsh unit follows our new style designed to offer smaller communities and trade professionals alike a hub for all their tiling needs," said director of property Dan Little.

Topps Tiles has more than 365 stores throughout the UK with more store openings in the pipeline. As we reported on  July 5, the listed retailer announced a decrease in revenue of 4.7% for the 13 week period ending July 1 2017 but said it is still eyeing new acquisitions.
