Totally 2014 partners with THS Tools Group
Published: 22 October 2013
THS Tools Group, the national network of local industrial distributors, has committed to becoming an event partner at next year's Totally Tools show.
The group, which has over 160 outlets across the UK, will be creating its own 'village' within the exhibition to share with at least eight of its main suppliers.
THS members have a collective turnover of £400m, and work independently in their own local markets, but access the buying power of the THS Tools Group to compete directly with national distributors. The group's new online store gives each member incremental sales by offering both direct and click-and-collect' purchase options to users.
"We will be promoting our new online store, localindustrialsupplies.co.uk, which launched at the beginning of October," said chief executive Nick Swash, "and encouraging our members to meet directly with some of our key suppliers."
THS will also be hosting a business review meeting and dinner for its members on the Monday night of the show at its Coventry venue.
"The Ricoh Arena and the timing of Totally Tools are a great opportunity for the THS Group members to get together for their own update, but also to get a feel for what the rest of the industry is up to," said exhibition director Paul Grinsell.
"We're delighted they're joining us at the show - the group has certainly bucked the industry trend in recent years and we think the industry will be as interested to see their latest online store, as well as catch up with a great selection of tool suppliers."
Other key suppliers already booked into Totally Tools include AW Tools, Abingdon King Dick, DK Tools, Draper Tools, Newsome Tools, Rollins & Sons, Rolson Tools, Sealey Power Products, Smart Tool Group, Unison Tools - which means visitors can also expect to see the leading brands Am-Tech, Arrow Fastener, Bulldog Tools, Eklind, Estwing, Irega, Johnson Level, Marshalltown and Witte.
The Totally Tools and Totally DIY shows will run from Sunday to Tuesday, February 16-18.
