Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Totally 2014 signs up Bira Village again

Published: 21 August 2013
The British Independent Retailers Association has confirmed it will be creating its own 'village' of Bira suppliers again at next year's Totally DIY and Totally Tools exhibition.
Bira Direct buyer Steve Akers is working with show director Paul Grinsell to encourage suppliers to take part.

"Our first outing with Totally at the Ricoh Arena earlier this year went very well," he said. "The venue is easy to work in as an exhibitor and easy for many of our members to visit. We had positive feedback from all the suppliers who showed with us then.

"We'll be repeating the experience and want our 'village' to be a key area at the show for our members and show visitors to come along and meet some of our key Bira Direct suppliers."

Six firm bookings have already been received, from CSY Retail Systems, Chain Products, Everbuild Building Products, King Cole, LG Harris and Salepoint, along with interest in another four stands.

Bira will also use the Totally Shows to announce its British Hardware Federation annual supplier awards.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary year, 2014's Totally DIY and Totally Tools shows will run from Sunday February 16 to Tuesday 18.
