Totally launches new strapline for 2012
Published: 3 November 2011
The Totally Shows has introduced a new strapline - 'It's where the trade trades' - along with a new tool box image to promote the show this year.
The visitor promotional campaign for the 2012 shows includes a new-look website, new print and online ads, a comprehensive direct mail and email campaign and sponsorship of the industry-leading DIY Week Awards in November.
Visitor registration via the totally website has already gone live, and exhibitor bookings for the shows are tracking well against the same time last year, organisers have said.
Sales director Paul Grinsell said: "The show is poised to grow again this year as it continues to exploit and develop its co-location with Spring Fair International and build on this year's 15% growth in space."
Many of the regular exhibitors will be retuning to the show, including Draper Tools, Gorilla Glue, Shurtape, Liberon, Rolson Tools, Trimaco and Plastikote. New companies will also be trying out the show for the first time, and others are returning after a break.
Show director James Murray said: "The shows' new strapline reinforces our credentials as a trade show for retailers. Totally is where retailers from the multiples to the high street, from garden centres to department stores and online and TV, come to find their DIY and related products and see them in action.
"This year we're encouraging even more exhibitors to come and show off their products in our central show feature the 'Retail Tool Box', and we'll be weaving some good industry research from the leading names in amongst the product demonstrations that will be of interest to visitors and exhibitors alike."
The show is being supported once again by trade associations Bira, BHETA and Gima, as well as wholesale and marketing groups Stax Trade Centres, Home Hardware Southwest and Mica DIY.
The Totally Shows will run in Hall 16 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on February 5-7. For more information call the Brintex team on 0207 973 4734.
