Totally shows to move alongside Spring Fair

Brintex, organisers of Totally DIY, Totally Tools and Totally Secure, has announced a major change for the 2010 show - a move from Earls Court, London to the NEC in Birmingham to co-locate with Spring Fair.
The show, which closed its doors in London yesterday, will remain a three-day event next year, running on February 7-9, but will take up residence in a dedicated hall alongside Spring Fair, a show which attracts almost 70,000 visitors.
Exhibition director, James Murray, said: "This is a really exciting development - our shows will benefit from the Spring Fair's critical mass of exhibition space and significant advertising and promotional activity.
"It will also offer greater access for buyers in the Midlands and the north of the country."
DIY Week spoke to exhibitors at the shows yesterday, all of whom were excited about the news. For their comments, see this week's issue of DIY Week, out on Friday.
