Town & Country pledges percentage of sales to charity

Town & Country has announced an initiative to support the industry charity Greenfingers by pledging to donate 15% of all online sales.
Following the launch of its Greenfingers Master Gardener Secateurs Promotion at Glee, the garden tool and accessory supplier is helping the charity in its mission to create magical gardens in children's hospices around the UK.
The company believes its pledge will help provide Greenfingers with a regular income stream and one that will be of great help going forward.
Town & Country's chief executive Barry Page said: "I have seen the work that Greenfingers carries out for children's hospices across the UK first hand and it is inspirational and we are keen to do our bit to ensure that they can continue their amazing work.
"We have been increasing our marketing, PR and social media activity - all with a view to driving traffic to the website, where purchases can be translated into vital contributions to the Greenfingers fundraising initiative."
Chairman of Greenfingers, Matthew Wilson, added: "Town & Country has long been a supporter of Greenfingers and we already have them to thank for help in producing the video we are currently using to raise awareness of the work we do. This latest initiative - which will see Greenfingers receive a generous percentage of their online sales - will provide a valuable contribution to our fundraising efforts."
