The digital team behind the new page will be providing industry news, product reviews from tradesmen and interactive polls and feedback. TradePoint is showing its true dedication to the busy working lives of its customers as well by pledging to post updates on major sporting events on the page as well.

TradePoint's Facebook page is the latest in its new multi-channel offering, which also includes a website and orderline facility.

TradePoint's social media manager Patricia Khalifa said: "Our new Facebook page is available for tradesmen across the country to join. As well as providing product and industry news we'll be keeping our members updated on what's going on in their local TradePoint counters.

"One lucky member of the site will also win a 'spare pair of hands' for a week with a competition to celebrate the launch. Tradesmen simply have to 'like' the new TradePoint page for the chance to play and win."
