TradePoint signs partnership deal with Football League

B&Q's trade counter, TradePoint, has become the first ever official trade supplier to The Football League in a new partnership.
The 72 clubs from the Championship, League One and League Two divisions will join the group's membership scheme, through which they will be able to get discounted prices on a range of building products.
TradePoint will also become the title partner of the Football League Radio Show, a weekly round-up of news and comment from across all three divisions of the Sky Bet Football League, hosted by Mark Clemmit.
In addition, the new agreement will see TradePoint sponsor The Football League's Academy series of best practice seminars, which aims to improve the business performance of each Football League club through a series of seminars on football industry topics.
Football League chief commercial officer Richard Heaselgrave said the new partnership "gives each of our clubs the opportunity to save thousands of pounds on the cost of maintaining their stadium or training ground. This agreement breaks new ground for the Football League and TradePoint and we look forward to it being a fruitful collaboration for both parties."
Trevor Culpin, customer and marketing manager for TradePoint, added: "We're delighted to be involved with the Football League in this way, and especially by helping clubs to improve their facilities and maintain their grounds. We hope to be able to save their maintenance teams both time and money by giving them access to the 12,000 plus products available through TradePoint, and look forward to developing our partnership in other areas too."
