Turtle Wax to drive new growth strategy
Published: 31 January 2014
Turtle Wax has announced two new strategic distribution partnerships for its consumer retail products as part of a bold move in the UK car care market.
Granville Oil & Chemicals Ltd and Active Products have both signed long term agreements with the car care products manufacturer to facilitate the brand's new aggressive growth strategy following three years of flat sales.
Granville Oil & Chemicals specialises in the manufacture and distribution of lubricants and automotive coatings worldwide. This, coupled with expert insight into the marketplace, has positioned Granville as the ideal distributor of Turtle Wax products to the automotive specialist sector.
Active Products is involved in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of products to the DIY, grocery and online channels, as well as the wholesale sector within the UK. Active's logistics expertise provides a strong platform to work in partnership with Turtle Wax to secure growth in the national, non-automotive sector.
Speaking about the new strategy, Turtle Wax's sales and marketing director Mark Siddle commented: "This is the start of an exciting new chapter in Turtle Wax's UK history. We have the best possible partners in place to ensure we maximise brand awareness and cement our position within the UK as the leading car care consumer brand.
"Both companies' commitment to service and quality, combined with their experience makes them a perfect fit - we look forward to developing successful long-term working partnerships with both businesses."
Coupled with its new distribution partnerships, Turtle Wax will also be focusing on consumer driven NPD growth to support the brand's plans to increase its position in the UK car care marketplace.
