Smart Solar has introduced two new battery powered Christmas string lights: the jolly Santa and the smiling Snowman.
Each set of string lights has 10 white LEDs that light for six hours each day automatically at the same time.

The Santa and the Snowman string lights can be used both outside and inside and are perfect where there is no mains electricity.

The products light up automatically for a set period of time every day with the batteries lasting for up to 60 days, depending on type and usage.

Jonathan Stobart, Smart Solar's ceo, said: "With our new battery technology, we can have full confidence in launching these festive lights which are a great festive accessory for gardens and inside homes."

They can just as easily be used to decorate shrubs, hedges or potted plants in a garden, as well as a fun lighting effect indoors.

The Christmas light strings are available in attractive coloured retail boxes for easy merchandising in a garden centre's Christmas display area.
