Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

UK flooding: Have you been affected?

Published: 8 January 2014
The UK has been hit by adverse weather in recent weeks, leaving some areas without power and parts of many towns under water. Weather warnings are also still in place in some parts of the country.
UK flooding: Have you been affected?
Over Christmas, the worst storms in two decades left many people's houses battered by wind and rain. DIY and hardware stores have therefore become the one place where people can buy the essential tools to mend things around their homes and in their gardens.

You can take our latest poll to tell us if your business has been affected.

DIY Week will be including a story on this in our January 24 issue and we want to hear from you. Has your area been badly affected or even your shop or business been flooded? Have your customers been buying specific products to help repair their homes or protect against further damage; have you noticed a boom in any particular areas?

Please leave a comment below and include your name, the name of your business and where you are based. Alternatively you can email jcheeseman@datateam.co.uk. If you have got a longer story to tell, let us know if you would be happy to be contacted.
