Three senior members of the UK Flooring Direct team headed to the USA to attend a key trade event for the sector and to meet valued suppliers.

Chief Executive Jason Ashby, Chief Commercial Officer Elia Green and Buying & Merchandising Director Rachel Cook spent three days at Surfaces in Las Vegas – the largest floor covering, stone and tile industry show in North America.

It was an opportunity to look at new trends and innovations within the market to ensure UK Flooring Direct, which has offices in Coventry and Hinckley, continues to be a front-runner in the flooring market for its customers.

Elia said: “Surfaces is a major event and it’s vitally important to us that we stay ahead of the latest trends in order to offer our customers what they are looking for.

“We pride ourselves on offering high-quality products and the latest innovations for our customers, and being out at the show was a great opportunity to make sure that continues.

“Also, at a time when there are supply chain issues across every sector, it was great to be able to meet face-to-face with suppliers – something that has been almost impossible for two years. Of course, you can meet online but it was so much better to be able to meet with some of our key partners, in-person.

“The next step for us is to embed some of those new products and innovations into our own range as we continue to provide the very best for our customers.”
