United Housewares Merchants appoints two new members

Independent wholesaler group United Housewares Merchants has two new members, taking the total within the group to 19.
Hills DIY in Telford and Mica (UK) have signed up to United Housewares Merchants, a national buying group.

Managing director John Richards expressed his delight at expanding the group to 19 members.

In DIY Week supplement, Wholesale Leaders 2007, Mr Richards said one of the group's core aims was to grow membership.

"Now we have national coverage," he said.

The group has also recently launched an own-brand, Woodbury.
