Garden planter manufacturer Vegtrug Limited has recently appointed two additional team members to support growth of its European business, Vegrrug Europe GmbH.

Petrus Lahm has come on board as sales representative, whilst Rebecca de Winter, has been appointed inside sales manager.

Ms de Winter said of her new role: “I am looking forward to playing a key part in Vegtrug’s expansion in to Europe. We are poised to grow the business successfully and create lasting relationships with customers. I am excited for this new career venture.”

She will be based at the company’s head office in Essex, whilst Petrus Lahm will be working directly from Germany to meet with customers regularly.

As Vegtrug has secured contracts to supply several major European retailers and its products are due to be available online in Europe from 2019, the company explained it was a priority to ensure the infrastructure was in place and prepared for the expected sales growth.  

Vegtrug CEO Joe Denham said: “The launch of Vegtrug Europe GmbH has gone very well. With the new team in place, we are now well positioned to counter any negative impact from Brexit and continue to expand. We are currently preparing for 2019 with the launch of our new Grow Care range and VegTrug is excited for the future”.
